Drivers Direct Recruitment are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers for a well known company in the Nursling area. Newly passed HGV Class 2 Drivers accepted.

For the right candidate this will be a temp to perm position.

Hours of Work:

Day & Night shifts available.
Weekend availability as 7 day operation.
Need to work 5 days out of the 7 days.
Start times can vary between 1800 - 0500 (Nights).
Start time can vary between 0600 - 0800 (Days)

Salary:

Days - £14.31 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Nights - £15.45 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role:

Driving a HGV Class 2 Vehicle.
Delivering and collecting parcels from other depots.
Handball will be required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

Must hold a valid Cat C Licence (Class 2).
Must hold a valid CPC (Driver Qualification) Card.
Must hold a valid Driver (Tacho) Card.
Good communication skills.
Good customer relations.
Have a safe driving record.
No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
