Smartcall Recruitment is proudly supporting our clients within the Transport and Logistics industry, and as such we are looking for HGV drivers to join our team witha view to working on various assignments in the area.
We are looking for HGV drivers with experience of drivers hours and working time legislation, who can represent themselves in a professional maner with our clients and complete delivery and collections as instructed. You will be mindful of vehicle defect checks and reporting, and thorough when completing necesaary paperwork including POD's, and Timesheets.
If you are an experienced HGV driver looking for regular driving work in the Dorset area then we want to hear from you.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
> A category C+E, C, or C1 licence.
>A Digital Tachograph Card
> A valid and up to date driver CPC , evidenced with a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
> No more than 6 penalty points on the licence.
> No previous DD/DR driving convictions.
> For health and safety reasons, you must have a basic understanding of spoken and written English
