Healthcare assistant -Acute Medical ward London: The Princess Grace Hospital Full time: 37.5 hours per week Shift times: Monday – Sunday (flexibility to work long days, Nights & weekends) Permanent contract: Salary: competitive plus 9% shift allowance We’re looking for a Healthcare assistant to join our Acute Medical Team at the Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. Our Acute Medicine pathway provides a 24/7 service, providing care in our Acute Admission Unit, Acute Care Unit, or via our Urgent Care Centre, ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment - whenever they need it. You will be responsible for providing assistance to clinical staff and will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and maintain the agreed standards of care under the supervision of the nursing team. You will carry out clinical observations and assist staff and patients to deliver high levels of patient care, demonstrating excellent customer care skills. Situated in the heart of London's world-renowned medical district, The Princess Grace Hospital is recognised as one of the best-equipped multidisciplinary private hospitals in the capital. The hospital also has a several specialised centres, including; The London Breast Institute, recognised as one of the best private breast screening and diagnostic treatment centres in the UK; the London Digestive Centre, a highly specialised outpatient facility offering diagnoses and treatments for all conditions of the stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, and bile ducts; and The Institute of Sport Exercise and Health, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to sport and exercise medicine.
