Digital Marketing Executive
£28k - £32k depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
Hybrid role - Weekly travel to our 10 different Richmond Village sites with 2-3 days working from home

Role Overview
This Digital Marketing role offers you the chance to shape the entire digital landscape for our 10 Richmond Villages. Beyond social media, you’ll take full ownership of crafting and executing innovative digital strategies. From managing and creating dynamic content for platforms like Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram, to overseeing our broader online presence, your expertise will ensure the villages shine across the digital realm.
What you’ll do:
• Manage quarterly campaign planning and content across all digital marketing channels alongside Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Executive
• Attend our villages on a weekly basis to capture engaging content, photography of our properties and facilities, film case studies, tours and events.
• Lead on the development of our digital marketing strategy across all channels
• Ongoing posts across all of our social channels, focusing on key pillars including but not limited to featuring our properties, care home, resident case studies, activities and events, special offers, awards and Village news
• Set up engaging paid social campaigns on Meta with acute attention to detail on our target demographic and key areas
• Mentor and work alongside Marketing Assistant taking support with tasks, where required
• Forecast and monitor digital performance trends
• Measure ROI and KPIs
•Manage the website and portal platforms, optimising performance and demonstrating results through analytics
• Work with the Web Team to optimise the customer journey of our website and developing new propositions
• Create regular blogs, capitalising on key words and continually improving SEO through our website
• Oversee and liaise with third party platform / agency providers
• Lead weekly / monthly digital monitoring calls
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and promote special offers, events, news and services.
• Manage email lists and segmentation, tracking campaign performance.
•Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate campaign results and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead social media training for internal staff
• Build social media content calendar leveraging key awareness days, highlighting the communities within our villages, the activities, the staff and our residents
• Work with external agencies on paid advertising activity
• Analyse our competitor domains to provide insight and opportunities for growth, researching new trends and strategies to improve our rankings
• Develop imagery and infographics to convey messaging across all digital platforms
• Define and develop relevant metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of digital marketing activities, including use of google analytics and social media analytics
• Other ad hoc duties as required at Richmond Villages
What you’ll bring:
• 1-2 years experience in a Digital Marketing role
• Creative by nature, with excellent copywriting skills
• Demonstrable experience in running email, social media and paid social campaigns
• Detail and data orientated with a passion for all things digital
•Strong knowledge of website analytics and reporting tools (eg GA / GA4)
•Lives and breathes social media with strong videography and edit skills
•An effective communicator, able to deal with colleagues, advisers, and third-party collaborators in a professional and confident manner
• Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
•A strong team player, with ambition to develop marketing career
•Approachable, organised individual with a proven ability to work using own initiative
•Willing to travel on a weekly basis
•Ideal but not essential: experience working in InDesign, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro
•Strong graphic design skills
