Job Title: Senior Practitioner – Children’s Disability Team – Durham

Pay Rate: £31 per hour
About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Social Worker to join a Children’s Disability Team in Durham.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will conduct compliant assessments and section 47 enquiries to identify risk or need based on evidence. You will record and analyse information during social care assessments following policy and best practices, leading to clear plans for children. You will engage with children, carers, and families to understand their circumstances and form conclusions for long-term interventions. Additionally, you will assist in providing court statements, collaborate with colleagues to provide social care advice, and prioritize tasks based on urgency and risk. You will contribute to team functioning, develop cross-agency working, and own your professional development while providing guidance on local services for children, young people, and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level and have at least 2 years of post-qualified experience in social work.
