Salary Range: £24,405 - £25,430 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £12,663 - £13,195 per annum), plus additional pay for Sunday, Bank Holiday and night-time working (after 10:00pm)

The Role:
In our Children’s Services Department, there's a real commitment to improving outcomes for children and their families. We also regard staff support, regular supervision and staff development as priorities.
Working as a part of the team, you will provide the first point of contact for telephone callers and electronic referrals to Children's and Adult Services. This will involve providing information or advice, arranging for delivery of prescribed services or passing the caller to the appropriate person or team for a comprehensive need assessment.
As a successful candidate, you will be able to communicate clearly and effectively on all levels. You will be able to offer and receive advice to/from colleagues and remain calm, polite and professional when working under pressure and in trying circumstances. You will have good IT skills and be committed to service aims and continuous personal development.
Please note, this post is for our 'Out Of Hours Service' team, therefore evening, weekend and bank holiday working will be required.
