Who are we.
We are a leading recruitment company in the Southampton area. Our transport staff hold National CPC qualifications and HGV licences. We have over 35years experience within the transport and recruitment sectors. We understand the business and we understand and respect our drivers. They mean more to us than anything.
What are we looking for.
We currently have a number of drivers working exclusively for us and our clients. We are now looking for a further 6+ container drivers PAYE or LTD accepted. We do not offer Umbrella who hold the current Southampton port card to come and join us on our journey. Why ! because we like our drivers to have regular ongoing work for as long as possible. We do not believe in having drivers sat at home. We respect our drivers more than that.
What we offer.
We offer a competitive wage of between £16 - £20 dependant on Day/ Night LTD or PAYE status.
We offer regular work for those who want it and ADHOC work for those that do not want full time.
Staff that are understanding and will listen to your needs.
We can also offer an option to gain your Port Card. If you do not have one we will apply for this for you. You would need to pay for the card initially but the cost would be refunded after 4 weeks of continued work. We can also offer container training. Training can take time to arrange as it needs to fit with the client and trainer.
What do we expect
No more than a little commitment and a willingness to work.
Able to start on average around 04:00 but earlier on occasions.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
> A full UK C+E category driving licence
> A UK Digital Tachograph card
> A valid driver CPC
> No more than 6 penalty endorsement points
> A high level of understanding both spoken and written English
>12 months HGV 1 experience
>Southampton Port ID Card
>ADR Licence would be Advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 60 per week
