About
I am a polite, friendly, and sociable individual who is honest and reliable. I have shown dedication to supporting young people through volunteering at extra curricular activities such as football summer camps during the school holidays. These opportunities have allowed me to build on my communication skills through regular interaction with coaches, pupils, parents and carers.
I am currently studying A Levels at Huddersfield New College and enjoy playing football during my free time. I am a hardworking and committed individual. A key example of this is my desire to complete the Duke of Edinburgh gold award that I am currently working towards. This award will allow me to show my experience in volunteering, physical endurance and overcoming challenges.
I am an enthusiastic and lively team player and enjoy working alongside others. Through my sporting achievements in both girls and women's football, I have been able to show my support of others, my leaderships skills and experience how a collaborative effort achieves a common goal. During my time playing for Greetland Girls I carried out the role of Captain and shared the success of league winning.
I am a good listener and have a keen eye for detail. During my time as a football coach, I had to follow clear instructions from the leadership team which had to be shared with the children. This included understanding specific health and safety regulations as well as meeting safeguarding standards. This was often working under pressure due to the age of the children and the challenge of maintaining their focus on the activities. I was able to thrive on this challenge by organising interactive games and engaging demonstrations.
