Before 2020, I was back in the South West of England near Wales where I did a lot of agency driving, Builders Merchants, Bookers Wholesale, Parcel Delivery, Google street view etc, engaging with all walks of life, meeting tight delivery deadlines and being savvy with the GPS route maps. During Covid I was working in more rural physical employment, in forestry and timber yards, operating yard vehicles and technical equipment in large teams of diverse people. I also did food deliveries for a local Arundel deli business and volunteered on the till at Cancer Research.
About
I've done a lot of driving work over the years. Most of this was prior to the Covid 19 pandemic and lock down, which altered my employment strategy to putting my self forward to anything locally available. You'll see from my CV that prior to 2020 i've done plenty of delivery driving work including to builders merchants, frozen food delivery to care homes and everything in between. I currently work part time for a local business where I have been for 3 years, this is a small office based company of 5, it is for this reason why I apply for this Asda driving role, to be around a larger variety of people again, out and about, and be of service to the general public and my work colleagues.
