Jay Ghataora
Skills
I have a strong set of practical and interpersonal skills developed through both hands-on training and work experience. My technical abilities include working safely with tools, following procedures accurately, and staying focused under pressure—skills I built during my plumbing diploma and property renovation experience. I’m also confident in customer service, communication, and teamwork, thanks to my part-time role in a busy pharmacy where I regularly helped people from all walks of life. I’m reliable, well-organised, and quick to adapt to new environments. I work well both independently and as part of a team, and I’m always willing to learn new things and take on challenges with a positive attitude.
About
I am a highly motivated individual with a diverse skill set. I am not afraid of hard work and I am always eager to learn. My current, formal employment is within pharmacy, but I also have experience in building renovation work and retail and customer service. I have qualifications and a continuing interest in Design Technology, particularly Computer Aided Design (CAD). I have in-depth knowledge in the field of plumbing. My extracurricular activities focus on music and voluntary work. These seemingly disparate areas help me to think laterally in any task I undertake. I continue to seek free-lance employment such as building renovation work while holding down a part-time job. My steady part-time employment, freelance and extracurricular activities have helped me become, what I hope, is an efficient, well-rounded, and confident individual.
