Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Wedding Planner who is also able to deal with the marketing, website, Instagram and other on-line requirements to a high standard to build the business and join our dynamic team. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for orchestrating memorable weddings that reflect the unique vision of each couple. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in ensuring that every aspect of the event runs smoothly. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional marketing and guest services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their wedding day.
- Develop and manage detailed wedding plans, including timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination.
- Source and liaise with vendors such as florists, caterers, photographers, and others to ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to discuss logistics and design elements.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all details are executed as planned.
- Provide exceptional guest services during the event, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Manage timelines effectively to ensure all aspects of the wedding day adhere to schedule.
- Upsell additional services or products that enhance the overall wedding experience for clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning or hospitality management is preferred along with excellent computer, marketing and website skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and vendors.
- Background in venue, hotel or restaurant management is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A passion for creating memorable experiences within the wedding industry is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.
