Thompson Group are looking for a safe and experienced HGV Class 1 Low Loader driver to join our transport team.
Previous low loader experience is preferable.
As a HGV 1 driver, you’ll be making multi-drop deliveries around the UK. So we’re on the lookout for someone who not just has a good geographical knowledge of the country, but also has the ability to deliver the exceptional customer service Thompson’s are known for.
As part of a small team you’ll need to be flexible in response to the changing environments and requirements of the role. As such, associated duties will include loading and unloading vehicles/machinery.
Our working hours are very sociable with them being between the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday working, as required.
Applicants must have the appropriate licences/certificates (HGV1 is required - Fork Lift Licence is preferred) and previous experience in a builder’s merchant / Tool Hire or an interest in the industry is desirable.
