Wanted
Scrap yard worker with experience of operating heavy machinery, 360 degree crane and forklift.
As a Yard Worker you will be required to:
Drive a 360 Crane.
Operate a forklift.
Working at a scrap yard in Poole, you will be certificated 360 crane operator to work alongside our existing operators at our recycling centre to operate scrap rehandling machine and work in the yard.
As a yard operative you will be sorting through scrap metal and dealing with incoming materials from the trade and public.
Applicants must be physically fit as the role can be demanding and heavy lifting will be required.

- Adhering to HSE legislation
Operate in a safe and responsible manner, help customers load and unload goods.
Complete routine paperwork
Ensure machinery and equipment is safe and maintained in working order - preventative maintenance
Maintain good housekeeping practices ensuring area is always clean and tidy
Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety policy and rules
Eliminate waste
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
