Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to be offering a temp-perm opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 removals driver with our client in Christchurch. You must have previous removals experience for this role, be physically fit to help load and unload, and be willing to spend nights out when required. Position: HGV Class 2 Removals Driver
Days: Monday-Friday
Start date: ASAP
Location: Christchurch
Pay Rate: £15.97 (weekdays) - £20.17 (weekends). £25 (Night out allowance) Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.
As a HGV Driver you MUST have:
- previous removals experience
- a valid UK Class 2 HGV driving licence
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- your own transport to get to and from work
As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
