In this role, you will complete PPMs and Reactive maintenance throughout the Westfield contract.
Job Description
The Building Services Engineer Mobile will provide electrical and building services engineering maintenance across our client property(s).
This will include electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation on the client site(s).
Key Responsibilities
PPM & Reactive Maintenance:
Carry out scheduled PPM tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, pumps, and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continued operational efficiency.
Have full knowledge of work areas and follow schedules as required.
Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
Asset Management:
Inspect, test, and maintain electrical assets such as wiring, lighting, and distribution boards.
Service and maintain mechanical systems, including boilers, chillers, air-handling units, and other critical infrastructure.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Maintain compliance documentation and update records accurately.
Ensure that service levels are being met or exceeded.
Customer Service:
Respond to client inquiries and maintenance requests with a professional and customer-focused attitude.
Communicate effectively with site teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Reporting:?
Provide detailed job reports and recommendations for improvements or additional works when necessary.
Liaise with the management team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) or
NVQ Level 2/3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018+A2:2022)
City & Guilds 2391-52: Inspection and Testing or
City & Guilds 5831-11: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems
Skills:
Proficient in maintenance software- Concept, Maximo
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Health & Safety Compliance
Schematic Reading
Condition Monitoring Techniques
