Role Overview:
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will be caring and compassionate. You will delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work.
What you'll do:
- You will be prioritizing patient care needs and complete a comprehensive
assessment and escalate accordingly. - You will be carrying out heights and weights on patient arrival as well as maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
- Assisting co-coordinating a busy department.
- You will be screening patients upon their arrival.
- Adhering to the hospitals infection control measures and promoting these within the team.
- In addition to this you will attend study days and adhere to 100% compliance of Cromwell Hospital mandatory training timescales.
- You will be supporting the consultants in collaboration with the nurses.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant (essential)
- Hold an NVQ in health and social care
- Hold the Care Certificate Qualification or willing to complete the training
- Basic Life Support Trained (desirable)
- Have a desire to develop both professionally and personally
- NVQ Level 2 (Direct Patient Care) or equivalent
- Excellent team player
- Understanding of safeguarding best practice and awareness of relevant child protection legislation
