Minibus Driver

Gateway Central Services is seeking to appoint a minibus driver to support our classes to attend sporting fixtures and go on school trips.
We are looking for someone who is flexible in their work times and can drive to pick up a minibus from a neighbouring school, drive children to the trip venue and then pick them up at the end of the trip and return the minibus.
On occasion this role may involve staying with the group of children and their teacher for the day and joining in with the school trip.
There are approximately 15 schools trips a year. Trip timings for example 8.00am minibus collection, trip departs at 9.15am - venue pick up at 2.00pm, drop off at school and return to minibus to original school.
Sporting fixtures – timings for example could be 11.00am - 4.00pm
There may also be additional hours available to cover to and from school transport for The Romsey School and the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme which runs in the school holidays.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Hold a MIDAS certificate (although training is provided if you do not already have this)
- Hold a First aid certificate (although training can be provided if you do not already have this)
