We are looking for an experienced Driver to join our Hendy Jaguar Land Rover team based in Southampton. Our Drivers ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction are delivered at all times.
The Opportunity:
- Supporting the Service and Sales teams to achieve their objectives and working with colleagues across the dealership to investigate and resolve customer complaints;
- Maintaining a professional manner and high standards of personal and vehicle presentation at all times;
- Adhering to legal, environmental and health and safety requirements, ensuring the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times; and
- Assisting with general maintenance requirements on the site such as weeding and clearing leaves.
- Organising the timely collection and delivery of customer vehicles for service or repair, moving vehicles between the compound, showroom and workshop operations;
- Ensuring all vehicles displayed on site are lined up and priced;
- Notifying the Service team of any customer issues or problems with dealership vehicles (e.g. courtesy cars), and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the required standard;
- Ensuring any additional service or repair requirements identified by the customer are passed on to the Service team;

About You:
- An aptitude for building positive customer relationships - you will enjoy working in a team and supporting colleagues wherever possible;
- Effective communication skills;
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise;
- Manual handling experience;
- A good level of fitness to be on the move and on your feet most of the day - you will enjoy walking and being outdoors;
- Awareness of how to protect yourself and others through strict adherence to relevant health and safety requirements; and
- Full UK driving licence, good knowledge of the local geographical area and previous driving experience.
