We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and well-organised vehicle.
Duties
- Safely drive passengers to their destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is clean and well-presented at all times.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Handle any heavy lifting required for passenger luggage or equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details.
- Assist with any necessary paperwork related to the transportation service.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or queries from passengers.
Skills
- Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence; experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring passenger luggage is handled safely.
- Experience in commercial driving is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage time efficiently and meet passenger needs.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and safety.
