The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and Inpatient service. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and private GP services.
The pharmacy service is open on Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 8pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2.30pm
You’ll help us make health happen by (amongst other duties):
As a Medicine Counter Assistant at Bupa, our patients will be your top priority. With no shareholders, we reinvest our profits back into our business to give you the extra time and technology you need to make a difference to our patients each and every day.
- You’ll act as the service ambassador and provide an exceptional non-judgemental outpatient pharmacy counter service to all patients, staff and health care professionals.
- You’ll manage and coordinate the front counter service, identifying customer needs and offering appropriate advice on over-the-counter medicines.
- As a front-line member of the team you will ensure all customers are well received and responded to appropriately. You’ll register patients, take payments and provide an accurate cashier function, managing a daily float in line with current policy and procedures, and collect data for audit purposes.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent Customer Service focus
- Medicine Counter Assistant qualification (desirable)
- Experience of retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy. (essential)
- Computer literate.
- Experience in service delivery in area of Pharmacy (essential)
