As the Head of Medical Assistance Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Global Head of Healthcare Management in developing, improving, and maintaining Bupa Global Clinical Operation strategy and medical assistance services. You will be responsible for managing medical assistance suppliers relationships, operational process design and review, and overseeing medical policy operations. Your work will directly contribute to our mission by ensuring timely and accurate assessments of medical assistance requests and providing leadership to our medical assistance team.
Key Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
- The candidate must be a qualified and registered clinician/doctor preferably with a postgraduate qualification and a Master in Business or Healthcare Administration.
- Good experience of the medical insurance industry and specialist knowledge of the Medical Assistance sector and emergency.
- Multilingual and international working experience in a matrix environment preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and strengthen relationships within the business at all levels.
- A track record of driving performance to exceed targeted business results/KPIs supported by a commercial mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
- Strong medical and clinical industry, healthcare practice and knowledge preferred.
- Evidence of building talented high performing teams and getting the best out of highly talented people whilst quickly and effectively managing substandard performance.
