Key Responsibilities
Provide direction, guidance, and support to all ISS staff, ensuring they can perform effectively.
Manage inventory and supply orders for cleaning materials and equipment, maintaining necessary stock levels.
Oversee day-to-day service operations, supporting supervisors, monitoring officers, and management with operational and administrative tasks.
Continually monitor cleaning standards to ensure expectations are met.
Complete relevant documentation and maintain accurate records for company systems, including sickness procedures, quality audits, training, and performance monitoring (PMS).
Assist in collating and completing company reports and documentation within agreed timescales (PMS).
Monitor and manage sickness levels on site, ensuring HR processes are followed for absenteeism.
Foster effective working relationships with stakeholders (colleagues, patients, visitors, and staff) to ensure service satisfaction and long-term commitment.
Manage and evaluate service objectives and targets as outlined in the business plan, assisting with plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensure quality monitoring, activity reporting, and performance monitoring are properly implemented according to company policy and procedure.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Working knowledge and understanding of Level 3 Health & Safety.
BICS qualification.
Understanding of Support Services in Healthcare (or equivalent) at NVQ Level 2.
Customer Care Training.
Previous experience managing or supervising within a service contract.
Strong knowledge of equipment and Health & Safety regulations.
Experience in labour management.
Previous experience in financial accounting.
Experience working with Trade Unions.
Strong organisational skills.
Proven ability to manage, lead, and motivate teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with people at all levels.
