We have a position available for a Volumetric concrete lorry driver / operator.
The role is to drive up to 38.5 Tonne Class 2 HGV vehicles to customers sites in our local area. Operate the on board plant to batch concrete for the customers requirements once on site.
All vehicles have new mixers and most are new chassis's.
Training can be given for plant operation for the suitable candidate. Most new employees take approx 2 weeks to be comfortable with the mixer operation.
The suitable applicant will be an experienced HGV class 2 driver comfortable maneuvering 8 wheel rigid vehicles in tight spaces. They also need to be fairly practically minded with a strong work ethic, including good personal organizational, time keeping, vehicle cleanliness and communications skills.
We are a small team currently expanding, and looking for a new member that works well as a team player.
Salary is £ 41000 Pa with hours of 0630 to 1730 Monday to Friday.
Regular overtime available on Saturdays from 0630 to 1200
Pension.
28 Days Holiday + Christmas break.
Tacho card, CPC and relevant licence required.
The role is based from Canford Arena.
