Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring a timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as required.
Responsibilities
- Delivering customer’s orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Accurate delivery of customer’s orders.
- Handball deliveries. You must be physically fit due to manual handling demands.
- Daily vehicle checks to ensure DVSA compliance and roadworthiness.
- Compliance with Safe systems of work.
- Be trustworthy and reliable.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver's licence, CPC qualification, and Class 2 minimum licence.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management.
